this woman has something agaist me and my family .My wife is in cebu and we have done evrything they ask of us.But she does not phone or send leters to imform us abiut any thing.She has let my wifes medical expire for the 3rd time holy crap what is wrong with her and now my wife my have to do the medical for a 4 time omg.And i did imform my local MP about this too.To top it all of the papes for the visa has been in process since july 14 2009 it will soon be a year .Does this case worker has a boss?

1. Not that I doubt you, but since medicals are valid for a year, why would your spouse have 4 in a year? There is something that you are not telling us.

Hmmm, looks like they might have done medicals way back in Jan 2008. Just looking at when he started posting on the forums.
First of all it is not uncommon for visa officers to be non-communicative. Most people don't get courtesy emails or phone calls from the officers assessing their cases. Manila has a processing timeline of 4-8 months - so a year in process tends to indicate there are "issues" with the application. You must have had some communications from them at some point - maybe an interview request, or a request for more documents that would give you some clue as to the reason for the delay?
The only other thing you can do is
order the CAIPS notes to see what's happening - but even with that, there really is no way to make things go faster. They're going to take however long they take and they really aren't accountable to anyone.
