Hello all,
I am a canadian PR and my child was born outside Canada and I submitted my sponsorship application for PR in January 2009. They approved my sponsorship in March 2009 and the PR file was then transferred for the rest of the PR processing to our home country. Last week, I lost my job, and I was wondering if filing for Unemployment Insurance at this point in time will jeopardize my child's application, or am I already past the phase of sponsorship requirement ? . Any help appreciated.
