Hi everyone!

I finally filed my application, according to the postal service, they received and signed for it on 16th June 2009.

I am filing outland, I am in London and my husband is in Canada.

What happens now, I have read about people waiting for a month and then hearing something? Is this correct, would I hear by mail/phone or would my husband hear?

Thanks and good luck to everyone with applications in process!!

The sponsor will receive a letter from Mississauga either refusing or approving the sponsorship and telling you the application has been forwarded to London. 38 Days.
London will receive the application and start processing, the average processing time for London is 2-8 months. You will probably not receive an acknowledgment from London, usually the only thing that you may receive is a request for more information, that an interview is required or the Passport Request so the visa (COPR) can be issued. It is all a waiting game now.

Thank you :)
