Hi all,
Just discovered this forum and it's a fantastic source of information. I have a quick question about sponsorship and was hoping someone could clear it up.
My wife (a Canadian citizen) is planning to sponsor me (a U.S. citizen) for Canadian P.R. and I understand that because we're married she doesn't have to meet a minimum income. Does she still need to be employed in order to sponsor me? She has been a student for the last four years and just graduated. I'm working, and we have savings and family in Canada, so we could support ourselves for a year or two if necessary while the application is being processed. Will it be an issue for sponsorship, though, that my wife isn't employed?
Thanks in advance!
