Not really sure where to post this so here seems as good a place as any.

Now that my husband has received his PR card can we remove the COPR paperwork (Form IMM 5292) from his passport?

I thought I read somewhere that this paperwork is fairly important and should be kept in a safe place should it be required in the future???
Yep, should be fine to remove it and keep it in a safe place now. Many people (myself included) never had it attached to their passport to begin with.

It's an extremely important document, as it is your landing document and will be required for other things later (eg. applying for citizenship).
Thanks a bunch!!! The officer at landing folded in into a nice lil package and stapled it in his passport .. guess she thought he looked like he might "lose" it *L*
