Hello,
This may be a silly question but does it matter what POE you bring your "goods to follow" across? We're are going down in July to get the rest of my things. When I landed, it was at Detroit but this time it would make more sense to cross at one the of the Buffalo area crossings because we'll be going to New York after our visit to Ohio. I'm just wondering if it matters that I submitted my "goods to follow" list at Detroit/Windsor and want to actually bring them up at a different POE.

Thanks! :)
Nope. We've crossed a couple of different borders now (landed at Sarnia and submitted Goods to Follow list there, crossed July 08 at Windsor/Detroit with some more stuff, crossed December 08 at Buffalo with the rest of his stuff).

As long as you have your photocopied list with you, there's no issues. You shouldn't even have to get out of the car; just let them know what you're bringing back on your list.
Thanks TPSmitty!

I didn't know you could bring your "goods to follow" up in multiple trips either, I had wondered about that. Good to know.

We probably will have to get out of the car because we are bringing up a boat so there will be some RIV paperwork, but it's good to know the rest should be easy.

I'm excited to be done with wondering "where is that again, I know I have it, oh wait it's still in Ohio..." lol

Thanks again! :)

Yes, there is no time limit for bringing in the items listed on the Goods to Follow list.
