Does anyone know at what part of the second stage immigration lets you know that an interview will or will not be needed? During the early, the middle or the last part of the second stage...thanks :)
It\'s towards the end I think, I\'ve seen a lot of threads where right after the interview, they are told to send in their passports to get their visas and can land right away.
On that note, anyone happen to know what factors determine if you actually require an interview or not? Thats something I havent really seen mentioned.
I think they generally request an interview if there are questions about the genuine nature of the relationship.

Red flags might be a big age difference, short relationship before marriage, only having met a couple of times in person, previous sponsorships, and I\'m sure there are certain countries that they consider to be \"higher risk\" (like developing nations where people might be more likely to want to move to a more developed nation with a better quality of life)... if people who fall into these categories haven\'t provided enough \"proof of relationship\" stuff, or really if anyone has not provided sufficient proof, they might be called in for an interview.

I\'m not sure what other reasons they might have for requesting an interview.
The only 2 reasons I\'ve ever heard of an interview being requested are:

1) Doubts about the relationship.
2) Rarely, VERY rarely, due to security concerns that may have come up during the background check.
Thanks (again Charr :P) and Rinnerz, I been reading here like crazy, just dont think ive seen that mentioned ever so had to ask!
