Hey Guys i logged in today to find that i have been given a DM... ohh i feel sick.. can they still deny me??
can i ring and find out or do i have to wait for the letter... i think i need a drink... lol
I know how you feel - all this waiting and now a decision, and you still have to wait to find out what. Unfortunately, "Decision Made" is just that . . . it could be either positive or negative. You'll receive a letter from them within about a week - 10 days. I think some inland applicants have called to find out, but since I didn't file inland, I don't know for sure about how you do that. I'm sure someone can tell you.
wooohooo i just got off phone.. and i have been approved!!!
i feel so sick and relieved.. thank you guys it been a long 2 years 2 months and 12 days...lol
Thank you Robluv :)
Congratulations! So glad your decision was a positive one.

cods wallop[/FONT]... 8 yrs not just a few years... i don't really wanna loose my accent i quiet like it.. makes me different... it would certainly make you different in the middle of whoop whoop....right mate!!..
Belated congratulations.
I have been trying to lose my accent for a long, long time.
Some accents are cool. Some are simply about who the person is. And that's the problem. A NY'er accent says way, way too much about who a person is. Gotta lose it ASAP. Probably never really lose it.
So yeah, I force it, emphasize a syllable here or there, enunciate with deliberate affect, and still encounter, "oh, you're a Yank eh" even if I am talking about moose and beaver and how nice a chilly breeze feels in mid-July.
My husband's from southern Illinois. His drawl only comes out when he's really tired. A few people have picked up on it in regular conversation, but they're typically people who either spend a lot of time in the US, or are actually American themselves.
