I was married in June of this year in china so now I have a question about all the paper work. Do I send in the sponser application form for me to sponser my wife first? I am Canadian she is chinese.Then start the rest of the forms for her to come to live in Canada and apply from Beijing after I have been approved for sponsership? When I send the forms for sponsership do I pay for all the forms at the same time?

Roadtocanada is a wonderful website with a TON of information. These people have all been through the process or are currently going through it now, so they have a lot of advice and helpful hints. There\'s a search tab where you can search for any number of topics. And feel free to post questions any time. Another great resource is immigration.ca - there\'s a discussion forum on there as well.
Few people on this forum have used an immigration lawyer or anything like that - most of us have done it all ourselves. It really depends on how comfortable you feel with the process.
