Hey Guys-
Quick question...when they ask for recent photos...how recent should they be? Mine are from September 2010. I\'m getting ready to send the application in and just wondering if I now need to get new photos taken.
Also, I have long hair in the pictures and have since cut my hair super short.
Thanks!
Ashley
You talking about the photos you will need for PR , if so, You will need to redo and get more done,
1. looks like you are at the 6 month period, normally if it has been 6 months or more, you need to get new photos. Someone Correct me if I am wrong, but I do believe that is correct/
2. since you have cut your hair, the other pictures, would not be any good, cause you have made changes to your apperance, so I would go get new ones.
Hope that helps,
actually let me correct myself, its 12 months. here is a site you can read about it.

The pictures you sent in with the applications are NOT the ones that are gonna be on the PR Card. So id go ahead and send the ones you have now. When you get accepted for PR, they will request one new picture, and they are gonna use it for your card.
Thanks for your advice. I got new photos today. Not a huge deal as they were only 15 bucks at Costco...I\'d rather pay 15 bucks than hear that I need to get new ones down the road!
Another question if someone knows the answer....
When putting the papers together for shipment they tell you that when you have extra pages of evidence to answer questions that you should put your name and the page number in the top left corner..did everyone do this? I did it for a lot of my papers but I have a ton of pages that are flight and/or hotel confirmations as evidence of a joint travel package. These were just emails that I printed out...should I go over them with a ballpoint pen and write on the corner of every page? What do you recommend?
Thanks so much for any advice you have.
