My husband received the card in the mail today. I was really very surprised (gladly though) that they worked so quickly!

What is the timeline for your application ? When did you send the application ?

I got my PR card around three weeks after landing as well. Apparently, they've been working quickly.

App. Sent -Dec 23, 2008
App. Rec. by CIC and transferred to Buffalo - January 8, 2009
Buffalo AOR- February 10, 2009
File Trans. to NYC for expediting - March 10, 2009
PPR - March 27, 2009 (did not receive letter until May 6, no idea why)
Visa Rec. - May 20, 2009
Landed- June 29, 2009
PR card -July 20, 2009
