My wife is sponsoring me for pr, we sent our application in and was received july 02, anyways My question is, will I be able to go visit My wife during christmas while My application is being reviewed, Im in the States, shes in Canada, so wanted to know before I buy My ticket..

thankyou
Susan
Yes you can visit, and should not see any issues. If you applied from outside and are coming from the US/Australia/UK etc you may have a good chance of having your PR approved and Visa in hand for that trip.
That is very good to know. My hubbie and I are in a similar situation.
If your PR is not finalized by then, just be sure that you bring proof of your ties to home when you try to enter Canada - or have your spouse/sponsor accompany you into Canada. With a PR application in process, if you're alone, they are likely to refuse you entry if you cannot prove to their satisfaction that you don't intend to stay permanently.
what kind of proof? will a copy of return ticket or where I work?
