Yeyyy!!! Just an update! I received this via email today.


We received your application to sponsor ****** on November 4, 2010.

We sent you a letter on November 30, 2010 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.


Now I am super nervous of the decision! It was too fast.. Not even 1 month? I’m worried because I had no income at all last year, when I filled the paper, It’s almost “0” income… I’m at work and I am so happy they’ve received it.. Turned out that Canada Post “Overnight” is not really overnight. I mailed it on the 2nd.. CIC Miss received it on the 4th.. oh well :p

Hoping that my application is approve.. iT\'S TOO QUICK... WHOULD THAT BE SOMETHING TO WORRY ABOUT?

It can vary from a few weeks to a month to 40 days.

I really hope I received the mail today ( which I doubt cause it’s coming from Ontario), I may need to wait till Monday… ohhh weekend torture. Hahahha

It took a week and a half for me to receive from the day i got the Ecas Update

oh well.. at least I have the peace of mind knowing that it has been processed.

Must be really tough for you when you were waiting for the letter huh? I can feel the pain now! :p

It was hard but at the same time, theres really no way you can be denied, except if you were convicted for crimes, or filed bankruptcy
so dont stress too much :)

But I\'m keeping my hopes up! Thank you!

My daughter had almost \\\"0\\\" income, is self-employed and they live with us. She was approved relatively quickly also. Don\\\'t worry, you\\\'ll be fine! On to the next step.
Oh, and I don\'t even think she got an email...just came by snail mail.

One question, when I paid the fees online, I paid everything including the RPRF. But when I check my email, the receipt is not divided? It was only indicated the full amount that I\'ve paid. I\'m just worried that there might be s ome delays cause they might think I haven\'t paid yet.

The sponsorship letter says: \"This letter confirms the receipt of processing fee\" They did not mention the RPRF?

how much did you pay? 1040?
