My spouse recieved a letter from immigration, giving us our client number and a kit Id, and said our application was being forward to buffalo, so does this mean Mississauga approved the sponsorship portion of our application?

and My second question is I keep trying to check it online with the client number, but I dont know what Im doing wrong, cause nothing comes up maybe ya could explain to me how to do it..hope I dont sound stupid
My spouse sent me a copy of the letter so my first question is answer, her portion to sponsor was approved now just the second question I need answer if you could help, thankyou, Im so happy, here we go, hehehe
Did you folks receive the letter about sponsorship yet?

Try logging into e-cas with the number, select "Client ID" under identification type and then try either the sponsor's information (name, DOB, COB) - if that doesn't work - try the same with the applicant's information.

If nothing else you'll get the answer to the sponsorship question and it will say transferred to Buffalo.

yes the letter says sponsorship was approved and has been transferred to buffalo now ..still could not get the status check online I tried both ways
It actually takes them awhile sometimes to update eCAS. It should work eventually - but don't get too excited. It really won't tell you anything - most of the time eCAS simply says, "In Process" and sometimes "Medicals Received" throughout the process. And even though they update it to say "Decision Made", it doesn't tell you the decision. You still have to wait for the letter. What really annoyed me was that we were requested to send additional information, which we did, and they could have used eCAS to confirm receipt - but they didn't. Buffalo, in particular, seems very uninterested in utilizing eCAS . . . or communicating in any form.
will that sucks, Im not getting to excited, I am happy that at least its now being sent to buffalo, and her sponsor part was approved and now the other will be review, its a small step I know but its a step forward
