We got an email today from the CIC requesting a police certificate from the brief period that my fiancee spent in Denmark. When going through the paperwork, we had thought that it wasn't going to be needed but we were wrong.

At the time I considered getting one just in case and sending it along. Now I wish I had done that.

Yet another setback. This is getting rather demoralizing as he is here with me in Canada, I am the only one working and we are staying with my family, who are wonderful for letting us stay but do not understand why this is so tedious.

So my advice is, if you are wondering if you need it, include it anyway!!

The good news is that they are working on your application and honestly, even though I know it seems like it's been a long time - according to your time line - it's only been 2 months since they received your application.

Yeah I think it just feels like forever since we started gathering the documents in February.

I tried that fax number a few days ago from the link you listed which I found the day we got the email and the number they list is wrong. We ended up emailing the Danish police who sent us the correct number. I should probably call the CIC call center and let them know!!
