I am sponsoring my husband from Serbia. We have daughter, she have 3 years now and she is born in Canada. We are going thorough Vienna office. My husband received today AOR from Vienna office and they are saying that processing time is 6 or more months!!! Are they telling that to everyone?

CIC's posted timelines for Vienna shows 3-8 months. Yes, the waiting is hard, but you're in good company . . . we all go through it, some longer than others when you start looking at the other timelines.

I got the same letter you did, also from Vienna. Less than 2 months later, I already had the visa. So don't worry about it, you'll hopefully be done sooner.

Today I check eCAS and it says that file was forwarded from Vienna to Belgrade (Serbia). Should I be worried or happy? I'm asking that because Belgrade office is not dealing with immigration... just visitors, workers and students visa.

Time to get your CAIPS notes, if the file was transferred to Belgrade, it may be for an interview.
