Road To Canada Forums

Today I got approved for my husband's medical benefits so now I can actually go to the Dr. here in Canada. I also got news from CIC that my visitor extension was approved and mailed out yesterday(10-5), so now I can go apply for my passport at the consulate and get things moving so I can finally submit this application. My goal is to have it mailed off by the 20th. The passport should only take 6 days since I am paying the extra money to get it done quicker.

Anyway, I thought I would share my happiness. I'm glad things are moving forward with this.

Yay! That is great news for you! Goodluck with the application goal you have set for yourself. And again, I'm all with YAY! about getting accepted on your husband's health insurance. I wish there was a way I can get Amanda on mine, but I get mine mainly through Native Affairs. *sighs* But I'm happy you got on your husband's, that's great.
