Thanks for this message board. I'm not sure what we would've done without this place as a resource. Most of the questions I'd want to ask about all of that paperwork have already been asked and answered here.
However I don't know how much longer my nerves and/or sanity are going to last. Hoping to hear about sponsor approval in the next week or two.
Wife is Canadian, I am American.
Mailed everything August 17, 2009
Received in Mississauga August 19, 2009
Sponsorship approved September 18th, 2009
Received in Buffalo October 1st, 2009
eCAS available October 5th, 2009
PPR November 9th, 2009
It shouldn't be too long. Our app. was received in Mississauga on July 20 and sponsorship was approved on August 19. Hang in there! :)
According to the website - they are processing up to August 11

It's probably going to be at least another 2 weeks - maybe 3 before you hear anything

They called my wife and said they lost the medical forms I sent. And they don't have the forms my doctor sent a couple months ago. Because apparently these forms pass through "many hands" before your case worker gets to see them. Keeping everything in the same box must be a huge challenge. Or maybe Canada is experiencing a staple famine. I mean it's not like I drove 100 miles and spent $500 to get that sheet of paper or anything. Oh wait.
Whenever I imagine the CPC, there's always circus music playing in the background and dancing bears in tutus chewing on boxes of people's paperwork.

I hear ya, dude...
My husband got a letter from Buffalo this week, dated Sept. 3, advising him that his file has been received, his file #, etc. They also included the form and information for getting a medical done. He had his medical done, in April, and we included the proof with his application. And yet, when we check the status of his application online, it says that the medical results have been received (dated Sept. 3, we were able to access it as of Sept. 7).
So we tried calling... can't speak to anyone. Tried faxing... no reply after a couple of days. Tried emailing... got a return email notifying that the email was received, but nothing else yet.
I am pretty sure that things got crossed -- the form was probably sent out automatically with the letter, and in the meantime the results were received. But we really need to know that for certain. If we don't hear something by early next week, I'll try faxing the Regional Medical Centre.
I don't know what I'd do without this forum!

Not sure which thread DerbyGirl is referring to, but I went through something similar and, hopefully,
this thread will give you the info you need. If not, have you contacted the DMP to see if they have a copy of the results they sent? If so, maybe they'd be willing to re-send them.
D'oh on me -
this is the thread I was referring to, guess it helps if I actually put it in

Thanks for the info. This is really helpful.
I just got a letter saying sponsorship was approved and my case is in Buffalo, so apparently they didn't care about the medical receipt form. I don't even know where I'd send any additional medical forms so I'm just going to wait and see if they request us to send anything. I'll definitely contact my DMP and see if they have copies of what they sent. It'd probably be good for me to have copies anyways. That was the one form we didn't keep copies of (partly because copies seem to be worthless anyways, they have to be stamped and signed and photographed and official).
The copy would have the bar code on it

I got a letter from Buffalo saying they got my paperwork. eCAS currently says "In Process" with this further info:
Quote:We started processing BRIAN's application on September 28, 2009.
I see everyone else here has "Medical results received" in their timelines, but mine doesn't say anything about medical results being received. Should I assume there's a problem?
The letter from Buffalo said if they needed further information, there would be additional forms included with their letter, but there were no forms requesting anything.
Mine was logged into Buffalo may 1
Transferred to Seattle May 28 & my "medicals received" didn't show up until late June I believe
Sometimes it never shows up - just depends if it's entered into ecas or not
It's not a good indicator if meds were received

OK. Thanks again, you're saving me a few gray hairs.
