I finally finished the Personal Effects Accounting Document, crossed the border and landed on my way back in.
It took about 15 minutes and, except for the scolding I got for using the Nexus lane and not telling them I was there to land - they just said "Hi, have a nice day.":run:- it went smoothly.
I'm glad that's finally over!

It's too bad I forgot to add to Bowflex in the Personal Effects Accounting Document.
I guess when you have a house full of 'stuff' - most of which you assume won't be following you to Canada but you list because you never know... - it still pays to be thorough.
If you want it in Canada with you - just bring it up when you're ready
I'm pretty sure it won't be a problem
Heck - I crossed the Peace Bridge with a car load of "stuff" without a problem

Can I ask you some questions about the landing process? I just got my landing papers in the mail too!
What kinds of things did they ask you when you crossed? I think I'll be crossing sometime in the next two weeks and I was just curious.
Also, if you're going to be moving to another address can you tell them that at the border so your PR card goes there?
Also does your sponsor need to be present or can he meet me on the other side of the border?
