My hubby landed today, at the local office in Saskatoon!
It couldn't have been any easier -- definitely the easiest part of this whole process! We were early for his appointment, but the immigration officer said she'd take us before she went for lunch so we wouldn't have to sit and wait for her to come back, and she was just awesome. :)
From there we went and hubby got his Social Insurance Number. Now I can file my income tax, and he can work -- he's already got something lined up.
We are so relieved to have that over with. We've already made plans for a trip to AZ in early June to bring hubby's truck and belongings up. It's been over a year since he left the States, so he's super excited to see is family and friends.
Our biggest thanks to everyone who has been so helpful on these forums. You all rock! (I'll probably be sticking around. ;) )

I think he wondered what he'd gotten himself into... hahaha. He survived that, and this past winter (which wasn't nearly as bad as last year's). He's actually adapted quite well -- I'm proud of him. I thought he'd hate it, and was worried about that.
