E-Client today showed that my medicals have been received! Does anyone have any idea how much longer it will take until passport request?
And on another note, is anyone here a French speaker? J'essaye d'apprendre français, une langue officielle du Canada!

I submitted my medicals with my app, so the receipt of them doesn't mean anything to me. ;)

But I applied Sept '04, IA Nov '05, Meds received Feb '06.

request for medicals usually indicates you are in the home stretch. Background clearances are all that is likely left to complete. How long that takes seems to depend on your home country and how much information they want to verify.
I would consider it good news. You might get some info off the Yogi timeline site. I am assuming you are applying through Buffalo. Take a look at how long it is taking for other applicants to get a PP request after their medicals. It will give you a ballpark.
Congrats! Are you currently in US or Canada? Did you finish med in Nov '05 too? I'm having the same timeline but still waiting. e-cas hasn't changed yet.

Hey optimas, your medicals should be received soon, since we have the same timelines. From what I hear though, sometimes they just don't update the ecas, so don't worry.
