My husband is on a work visa in the UK which will be expiring in June 2010 and he is a citizen of Pakistan. I am a Canadian citizen currently residing in NY and I wanted to know whether my husband should choose to apply for his sponsorship from within the UK.
Will it take longer for our sponsorship application to be processed since I live outside of Canada?

Please help!!

Hi, Actually his application will be processed faster in the UK than if it was 'In Canada' as long as he has been lawfully admitted to the UK for 12 months his application can processed in London.

The only area of caution I advise is why you are living apart, the relationship is a factor in sponsorship applications so be prepared to answer those questions. Hope this helps and I wish you luck.
