hi everyone ,
Hope theres someone out there that can help .i was born in canada in 1984 moved to scotland as a tot .im am now wanting to move back with my partner ,im applying for a canadian passport at present .and understand that i can apply for my partner of 4yrs to move with me .however wot we would like to do is move at the same time to vancouver ,when applying for me to sponsor him i doubt i will have a job lined up at that point ,can we still apply ?what we hope to do is move out there with some savings and if needs be apply for jobs when we land ? also my partner is a qualified printing press operater but cannot get work in scotland doing this (has been here 5yrs ,working as security guard ,originally from ireland) .
when looking at the forms it also states criminal records check ,does he have to get one done in scotland and in ireland (r.o.i) ?
