Hello,

I was wondering if anyone is in the same boat as me..well my husband I guess.

He is immigrating here from the US. I am a born Canadian Citizen that is sponsering him. We sent his application to Vegreville (inland app) on May 28th, 2009 and it was received there on May 30th, 2009. I'm just wondering if anyone had sent their paperwork in on or around the same date, if you had heard anything.

I am religiously watching the CIC updates, but not much has changed in the past 3 weeks.

So if anyone is out there that is similar..let me know!

Thanks!
Kristi:)
Hi,

I am in a simlar boat but this one sails under the UK Flag :)

I would expect to hear something in the month or so, can you see anything on E-CAS?
No, I don't have a client ID number
You can use your reciept number, if you paid on-line it is the RXXXXXX number
Damn it! lol...I had order the receipts and go into the bank to pay. So I guess I just have to continue to patiently wait eh?
erm...not sure..... check here
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/redir.d...n&app=ecas

see if your bank recipt is like anything in the list there are 2 options

Recipt Number and Receipt Number (IMM 5401)
OOh...thanks. I will definately check when my son wakes up from his nap. All that info is hiding in his room. Thanks again!
Anytime, please let us know what happens...
So I checked all the receipts on the site. I have 4, 2 for my husbands application, and 1 each for my 2 kids for their proof of citizenship cards and there is no information on any of them. Geez!! How come so many other people can see their info and I've got nothing?
OK. Try the following, use both your details,Check the Sponsor and applicant. Also check the place of birth part try different options, e.g. there is UK and England it is both the same place but if you are English it will only work with England selected, check there are not more options for your place of birth. if this does not work give the CIC a call on 1-888-242-2100 they are quite helpful
i think CIC posts their time line in their website. Current inland time line is around 6 months.
good luck to you guys.
Thanks Nazmul. I watch that website religiously.
