my file was transferred from buffalo to New York on September 30th per an email i got. I have been tracking it online ever since my wife and I submitted it but get very little info from the online "service".
When I submitted it, it had everything. I paid the fees, had the clearances, took the medical.
I have seen some people with simular timelines that have already gotten their pr visa.
Is this normal or am I just getting antsy?
Any thoughts on how fast New York is moving?
It's not even been a month and don't forget there's was a holiday in there
Assuming you had no "issues" - probably the next thing you'll hear is that your file was transferred and not too long after that - PPR
edit to add - sorry, I misread - you were just transferred to NYC.
I read it as Buffalo got your file on September 30
It wouldn't surprise me if you heard something with the next month or so

My husband's was transferred from Buffalo to L.A. on Sept. 29 and we're still waiting as well, but I expect he'll get a letter any day now. I get rather antsy, as well... it's hard to be patient sometimes. ;)
