Hi guys
I just got my passport back with CPR (confirmation of permanent residence) and IM-1 Visa. Very excited..

I am planning to land on Saturday (31/10/2009) . Do i need any cash money to land at the border??
Any information about landing will be highly appreciated.
This forum ROCKS. And many thanks to Robsluv for complete guideline and all the help.
Thanks guys
Hi, I beleive as family class you are not required to have any funds in your possesion.
How nice does your IM-1 Visa look? if this was me I would not be able to stop looking at it. Well done and I wish you so much luck!!!!!
Congratulations Nazmul! I am so happy for you.

Imagine, a few months ago you were looking at the prospect of an inland processing time of over a year at the local office. So glad that cancelling that ap and filing again outland worked out so well for you. It's wonderful to have a happy example of a success story!
thanks Robsluv.. I really appreciate your time and help. if you wouldnt have given me direction, i would have waited as of today to get my inland application approved. thanks to you..
I hope now you gets your stuff soon. I hope and pray everything will be just smooth in your new PR application.

Oh man! Congratulations. I'm looking at your timeline and am so jealous! We did my husbands inland and have been waiting since May to hear anything. I wish I had knew about this forum before. Anyway, congrats again.

Hi Etoile42
for inland Minx time frame is 5-6 months for 1st stage of approval. if 1st stage approval is not approved then they sent file to local cic office and they have backlogg for 1-2 years. I was in the pain of inland too. wasted 8 months and they tfr to local ottawa office and ottawa office says 2 years backlog and then i decided to withdraw inland and filed for outland and here i come now.
everything is almost there within 4 months.
BTW good luck. I hope all the best..

Congrats! Good luck for your Halloween landing! :) Where do you plan to land?
