The nearest cic approved doc was two hours away. The doc put forward his two conditions even before scheduling an appointment. He would only accept CASH and we were not supposed to call him to inquire whether he sent the medical reports to Ottawa.

We had no other option. we did our medicals at the end of february.

Then we figured, we had only two ways to know whether he sent the medicals or not.
1. Wait 2. Desparately wait.

Since, none of those options yielded any fruit, I had to order CAIPS just to know whether Ottawa recieved our medicals or not. Today I recieved a bundle of my CAIPS notes and I seem to be unable to locate the only information I wanted to know. DID ottawa receive our medicals?

I know this site is frequented by immigration gurus. Please help me.

One page of CAIPS notes has medical assessment form but it does not have any information entered, not even the medical officer's name. However at the end of the form, it says
Narrative
MOF: a french name
Initaials: X-Y
IMS- Visa notified on ** may 2006, case status

do u have ottawa's phone number??
call that first, if Buffalo has already recieved, then go to email Buffalo.
if no answer, there is always MP

I heard Ottawa stopped entertaining calls for medical enquiries. Any way I wanna give it a shot. do u have their Phone number?

In terms of seeking help from MP, I do not know if it suits me. First it has not been terribly long since the process started. Second, I wanna let them get busy in making lesislations which hopefully will make my life better after I become a PR.

that's MP's duty, I talked to MP before, MP assistant keeps doing updated and let me know new BF'date for me. They have access phoneline we don't have... always good idea to ask them to inquiry your case rather than email Buffalo by ourself.
To be honesty, i think your case should be fine....
