So, with my husbands app for PR (spousal sponsership from within Canada), I included his application for work. Do they get to the work auth at the same time they finally determine whether or not I can sponser him, or will they do that before?

Usually you will get 3 letters at the same time, one to your husband saying he can be sponsered, one to you saying you can sponsor and another to your husband with his open work permit.
Okay, so I guess I just continue to wait. Ugh, the waiting game.
Sorry but yes, at least you are 3 months ahead of me, I have been sat on my **** for the last 18 months now, still I think I am quite a good Homemaker, my cooking skills have improved and I can now iron creases you could cut your finger on. You have to keep smiling :)
lol...those are some dangerous creases. I remember sitting on my ace for 2 years when I immigrated to the US. Definately good times. lol I kick myself for not submitting his paperwork sooner. Although, I had all the info ready to go out in March and sent out for his FBI stuff, and it came back with no stamp on it, so it took an extra 6 weeks. I was so upset. Seriously, someones job is to place a stamp on the paperwork and it wasn't done. lol
Don't worry, sometimes things happen for a reason, you just have to look to the future in the big picture 12 months is not a big price to pay, you and I are both with our loved ones, yes it is hard financially, but remember it is only temporary once PR is granted you can build your new life together, I try to think of it as an exciting new beginning. (operative word TRY) :)
