Do any Canadian sponsors of spouses have any advice when it comes to contacting your MLA or MP for help. Multiple co-workers as well as family members are urging me to contact my MP or MLA to see if they can help. I feel like from all the reading I've done on the CIC webpage there really isn't anything they could do for me. Any advice......Sigh

Order CAIPS notes that would be the best idea. In CAIPS notes you will be able to see the details to your aps info. You can also contact your local MP too. try both nothing to lose.
Also, your MLA will not be able to do anything as Immigration is under federal control and MLA's look after provincial matters.
