Folks, I need some advise from some of you who have gone through this.
Case: Spousal (Wife/Son) Sponsorship through Buffalo.
Buffalo started processing the file on Sep14. Its about 2 months now and there is no sight of medical result. About 4 weeks ago, I visited the consulate to check the status of the case and the lady who I met a the counter told me that there is no medical results in the system. However she was able to see that my son's medical results were received. She asked to call her back in a week and she would try getting some info from Ottawa. However its been 6 weeks now and she still says she has not received a response from the RMC in Ottawa. She does not know what else I need to do. She wants me to wait and I am fearing that the medicals are lost somewhere in their broken CIC system.
Someone's foolish act is causing us a delay in processing our file. I am not sure how long I need to wait since I see people who have applied after us are getting PPR.

Please help.
I went through this, too. Send a fax to the RMC in Ottawa yourself (613.954.8653). They're very helpful and prompt in their response. Give them the details (name, birthdate, date of examination and DMP) for the applicant whose results are missing and the RMC will look them up and, if found, forward them immediately to Buffalo and send you confirmation. If they don't have the results they'll let you know and you can follow up with the DMP's office.
Robsluv,
Thanks for responding. I actually sent a fax to RMC after your advice last time but so far nothing from them. Infact its been about 4 weeks since the fax I sent. Is there a number I can contact?
Do you it would help if someone were to visit RMC in Ottawa to expedite things?
Robsluv,
Here is an update. A couple of weeks back I had sent a fax to Ottawa based on your suggestion. Since I did not have a fax number, I had only mentioned my email and today they responded back indicating that the medical results were tracked in Ottawa and they have forwarded them to Buffalo. Thank God.
I had started to lose sleep over this. It was really kind of them to respond back in an email. I will keep you guys posted on the next steps.
Good to hear - thanks for letting us know and keep us posted.
Hey ecs- did you fax to 1 613 954 6211(the number listed for Ottawa Medical Office on the immigration website)? Do you know robsluv if that number works as well- as we just faxed them about my spouses medicals to that number I put above...
diddagirl,
I actually faxed to both the numbers just to be on the safer side. I now know that there is someone who really reads these faxed messages.

I think, as well, that both numbers work. The number I originally had - and used - is the one I posted in this thread (it's the one on the CIC contact sheet for the RMCs) but both times they faxed me back, it was from another fax number. I think both of those numbers are floating around here now, but I've really only had experience with sending to the one and I received (both times) almost an immediate response - both times (like a year or more apart) from someone named "Anna".
Thanks guys! I finally got confirmation from the DMP that is was in fact sent, as well they provided the tracking number that confirmed its arrival in Ottawa. I had already sent the fax, so we'll see Ottawa writes back... good to know that they at least have it anyways, so I know that that should not be holding up our case any...
