Thank you! We'll probably land next weekend; I'll be a nervous wreck until then! But unless my dh finds a job right away, we likely won't move until spring. It's going to be SO HARD to wait!
DB: what's the latest news on yours? Has Ottawa received your medicals?You should be seeing your PPR very soon; Buffalo is speedy right now. I think it took 3 weeks from the time Ottawa got my meds to PPR, so watch your mailbox! :)

yep, it has been 3 weeks after my medical exam. I know there is way to call Ottawa to check medical, however I am not really hurry yet, since Christmas season gotta start soon. I guess wait another couple of weeks, I might call Ottawa and see what's going on... The reason why I am so laid back because my MP office assistant promosied me to give me updated if they have.. I figure out no need to push Buffalo too much. Beside, I work 40 hours a week, lot of stuff at work happening, weekend need party, night club and drink. Haven't really thought about PR for a while..lol...

the reason I asked is to find out if this have any relationship with PPR.
I was planning vacation on Christmas. lol... I don't work on weekend or stats holiday plus my vacation. I hope I can have PPR before Christmas, I might spend Christmas in U.S then..

My e-client hasn't changed yet. At least as of yesterday, it still said "in progress". I don't think it's updated any too regularly!
You've got a good chance at having your visa in hand by Christmas, DB. Then you can plan your first trip home!!!! :)

yep, i save up to 3 weeks vacation plus weekend, it's like a month..
what i might do is fly to Buffalo to pick up PPR, and visit relatives in L.A, fly back home..
that's just plan see if I can have my PPR and book a flight.
yep, my mom really misses me, she told me everything changed since I left ...I grow up in a small suburb close to ocean.. now my hometown back in China double 3--4 times. new highway, new houses, everybody drives car instead riding bicycle.. They built Sams club and Walmart right beside my parents home.. My mom was describing how big is the new Sams club, selling things from koi fish to Chinese medicine.
my traditional idea of my grow up place, rural, quiet, fishing villeage turned to big box.....................
Therefore, no more green space or ocean front, instead of much traffic..I am pretty sure even I born in China, after half decade, I won't even recongize anymore.. culture shock..
lol I never told my parents that I go out with white girls here, they gotta faint right away..lol
BTW, if my U.S B2 get turn down, then no more personal pick up passport..I have F1 refused record back to when I was 18 years old..
lol...
When I got my Visa and COPR my E-case didnt update for about 1 month.
