Hey all, new to the forums here and wanted some advice.

I'm currently in a relationship here in the States that may be moving towards marriage. She's an RN, I'm a pilot.

Assuming we get married stateside, how hard would it be for her to get PR status based on her RN experience (extensive) and me to get PR status based on the fact that I'm married to her?

My goal would be for us to both get PR, then me find a job, then her find a job near wherever I'd be based. Obviously there are issues of provincial and federal liscensure for both of us (actually pretty easy for me, a little more difficult for her).

How feasible is all this?

So are you saying that neither of you is a Canadian citizen or PR at present? IF that's the case, then one of you would have to apply to immigrate to Canada based on the qualifications of a Skilled Worker/Business Class, and the spouse would be an accompanying family member (not needing to meet SW requirements). The process takes years - but you can find out more of the specifics in the Skilled Worker/Business Class forum. You wouldn't be applying as family class.
