i had a relationship with the mother of my son we filed taxes together for a couple years but spilt up approx 3.5 years into the relationship and was also with a woman after that for about 9 years and put her children under my work beneifits we never filed taxes together. now i met the love of my life and married her we and are applying for her pr my question being do these prev women count as a common law relationship going thru the application and the wording is confusing wondering what i class them as ?
It does sound like these would be classified as CL relationships
Basically, if you lived together & combined affairs - there's your common-law
