hi everyone,

i have a very basic question. honestly, you all might smirk a little when you read it ...

common-law partner and i are applying for PR, outland spousal (scotland). we've completed our application, and are trying to pay our fees before we mail the app in.

HOW DO WE PAY THEM ONLINE??

i know, seems silly to think we can put the whole application together, and cannot figure out how to pay the fee.

the outside canada sponsor guide advises that we can indeed pay online, however on the 'pay my fees' part of the website it says that if you're applying from outside canada to contact your local visa consulate?

step-by-step going through the online payment steps:
-i click immigration tab
-i'm sending the application to mississauga (then on to london, UK)
-i confirm the location
-then i get to the screen with that table, titled "immigration applications for persons in canada" ... i would check 1 at right of permanent residence, 1 at spouse and commonlaw partner in canada class sponsorship application, and 1 at spouse and commonlaw partner in canada class principal application

... even though we're not in canada?

i just want to be sure we're sending our fees in correctly. any guidance is very very welcome!

Go though the "Pay mt fees online" part and when you get to

I am sending my application to:

Pick - Mississauga, Ontario (Canada) processing centre
Then confirm location
Then 1 under RoPR fee
Then 1 each under "Family Class" (not the in Canada one)
Sponsorship application (per application)
Principal applicant

(This is assuming there's just one of you) - total will be $1040.00

The online payment is for ALL types, some processed outside Canada
The sponsorship portion is processed IN Canada at Missassauga, when they are done - they ship it off to London
