Hi Everybody!

In Sept 2002 I met the man of my dreams - in an online discussion forum! We were both going through a divorce after marriages of over 20 years but somehow, that very first time we talked, we both knew we'd found someone special. Our biggest question back then was how we'd bridge the gap between California and Ontario, but still we talked every day and figured if it was meant to be, we'd find a way. A year later we met in person for the first time and if we'd had any doubt that we were perfect for another, that doubt melted into nothing the minute we touched!

Four years and quite a few "adventures" later we're happily married, and I'm "visiting" in Canada while awaiting approval of our application for PR. We couldn't be more happy. It might have taken us a long time to get here - but it's been well worth the journey!
Hi there,

My name is Susan, I'm an Indonesian. Living and working in Canada has been my long time dream. I'm a college graduated taking pulp and paper industry as a major but I have 10 years experience working as a caregiver in few countries. I have a dream to be able to work as a registered nurse in Canada and I know, it's gonna be a very long road. I tried to look every little chances and opportunities crossed my way. Recently, I applied a visa under live in caregiver program and now are still waiting for my medical result and my stamped passport from the Canadian Embassy. I will be working in Toronto taking care of a 3 year old child.

I have a boyfriend, an American introduced by a Canadian friend I met online. It has been 3 years and we never met although we use skype, YM, phone almost everyday.

We plan to meet and if the chemistry's there we're going to get married in Canada. So, for now, I don't have much to share but joining this group I hope I can learn from what other people has been through.

Regards,
Susan
