Well today, immigration called me! Other way around. It's weird, I know. It was an employee in Vegreville. The problem is, that my husband had 2 dependant children, but were adopted by his ex wifes new husband, so it was in the process of being finalized. Last week, I was told to send in the proof of adoptions. So I called on Friday and CIC said that Vegreville was only opening mail that was sent in on Sept 25th. So that meant I still had to wait 3-4 months until they even opened my package. Needless to say, the lady working on my husband case, called today and asked me to fax them to her so she can finish it up!! Good or bad, that was very unexpected and made my day! Especially since I wasn't the one to call CIC today. Since I was Christmas shopping, I didn't get to fax them to her today, but will get that done first thing in the morning! Let's hope for some good news!!
