I just got Oen Work Permit from CIC local office,Etobicke (1st stage of Inland immigration )

now they saying that its going to take 1yr-2yr for 2nd stage for InLand Immigration

Is it true ? they take 2yrs for that ?

According to the reports of many, that local office is indeed swamped and slow; there is low priority for in-land applications, particularly for those who have received approval in prinicple and an OWP, since the only disability imposed is international travel.

Having a lot of patience is part of the price for filing an inland application rather than the standard outland app.
