Howdy, me again.

We're gathering the last of the necessary pieces of our application before sending it off, but I came across this and wondering if they really mean what I think they really mean:

From the Checklist, page A-3, number 13

--- quote ---
PHOTOS

Supply nine (9) recent photos for each member of your family and yourself (accompanying and non-accompanying). Photos submitted must be properly labeled at the back with the applicant's name, date of birth and signature.
--- end quote ---

This application is for my Japanese wife, so I assume "each member of your family" refers to me, her and our children (if any), and not her entire family in Japan, which would just be downright insanity.

As much as I imagine it just means me and her, I thought I should double-check.

Also, aside from photos we're sending to prove we're really married, do we need to send any extras, or signed photos of any of her family (mother, father, etc.) otherwise?

Thanks kindly, and merry Christmas.
If the kids are not applying (ie - if they are citizens) then it's just photos of the applicant (your wife) - not you.
If you are sponsoring wife & kids - then it's photos for the wife & kids
Sponsor doesn't send any official photos
No, don't need signed "official" photos of anyone in her family, just the ones - as you mentioned - to show that it's a real marriage, etc
