My application is also being processed at the Jamaica office. I do agree with you that they are really moving slow. They just responded to an email yesterday that I sent them since July 10th. Maybe it will be another month or two before they respond again.....hope not. I hope they get moving fast because the waiting is making me crazy

Don't worry people, Jamaica seems to be processing applications relatively faster than other West Indian areas. My application is with Port of Spain, T&T and they seem to be taking forever and they don't even reply to any replies or even update our E-CAS. Count your blessings!!!

29Jan07 - Started processing application
22Mar07 - Interview in Kingston,JA (went to see husband & stepson Mar '07!)
10May07 - husbands medical expired/10Aug07 - sons medical expired
13Aug07 - exception made for husband to pick up 'Redo Medicals
Letter' from Kingston as they mailed to Canada in error
21/23Aug07 - husband and son completing 2nd medicals
05Nov07 - police cerrtifivate redone (immm received 15Nov07)
26Nov07 - Medical Results Received (went to see husband & stepson Dec '07!)
09Jan08 - Received call to bring in PassPorts- usband brought PassPorts same day!!
We're filing outland, for the record, and it looks like its coming down to the last weeks of us being apart!! Soon, me, my husband and stepson will be together - February will be one year since we're apart!!!

I got my PPR call around Nov 15th, the Visa was stamped on Dec 4th, and I received my PP back a few days later . So you will be with your family soon.
