hello every one how can i uppgrade my info with the cic what documet do you think i should send to them to upgrade it, have my husband SP application was transfer to the local office since 2007 and since then have not recived any thing from them but someone ask me to send in more uppgradeing what and what can i send, please help
Hard to say without knowing a bit more about what's happened with your case so far. You say it was transferred to a local office in 2007 - so apparently you applied inland. When in 2007? Which local office? Do you know why it was transferred?

Sending information now, to update your file, will probably not accomplish what you hope it will. Chances are that it's sitting in a "que" waiting for applications that were submitted ahead of yours to be finalized. Some local offices have incredibly long backlogs. If that's the case, sending more info won't result in getting someone to look at your case - they'll look at it when it's turn arrives and, at that point, they'll write to you and ask you for updated info if they need it. It's hard to wait, but at least if you wait patiently and don't send stuff before it's requested, finally hearing from them will at least let you know that you're in process again.
Thanks Robsluv it was transfer in december 2007 we dont know why they only said your file as been send to the local office for forther assesment the local office will countat us and since then we have not get any thing from them my local office is windsor
This is outside the scope of what I can usually offer much to help, but I'd note a few things:

That's a long delay (two years plus) to hear nothing; I would order CAIPS (I think it is . . . others should fill you in on how to obtain information regarding your specific case) . . . and I wonder if there has been any change in address or other cause which might explain the failure to get mail, notice, or telephone calls.

Your original post was a bit confusing

about whether or not you were referring to a request from CIC about your case . . . if it was CIC who asked you to send in more info, you need to respond to that request, to send in the info they specifically ask for.

Otherwise, you need to keep CIC informed of current address and telephone number, and of any material changes in your status or relationship with the sponsor (such as no longer living together, which would, of course, terminate your eligibility to be sponsored in an inland app process), or things that would affect the sponsor's eligibility to sponsor.

There are other avenues to learn more about the status of your case. But given the limited info you have shared it is difficult to offer further direction.
thanks dpenabill i really dont know what is going on the only thing i know is that they never get back to us were are still on the same address but i do alway renew my TRP not to get out of status b/cos it was an inland application
Just a small correction - CAIPS is for overseas (outland) processing - what you should request is your FOSS notes
See here for help
