Hello Everyone

Can you phone Buffalo Immigration for an update.

They requested some extra documentation from my husband which he compiled and sent them from here. We sent it Expresspost for a 3-5 day delivery however like most things through the post office it finally arrived weeks later.

Can I call them or is that just a useless process I just wanted an update on the file through checking the application update it just says it's in process but it has said that since August.

1. Nope, no telephone contact.
2. Only way is specific inquiry email or fax and if the application is within their posted processing time, they probably won't answer.

I agree with PMM, Buffalo is notoriously non-communicative. The best way to get an idea of what's going on with your case is to order your CAIPS notes. It's a chronlogical print-out of all the activity on the case, and comments from the processing officer. It will give you a more specific idea of what's actually happening with it now.
