Hi everyone, this is my first thread. Just wondering, am I the only Singaporean here? I received my medical and police cert requests from the CHC in Singapore last month, and I've already sent out my prints. I'm most worried about the RCMP clearance, which is notoriously time consuming. My lawyer told me the normal timeline is 3-4 mths, but I was hoping to hear if anyone out there has had the good fortune to receive their clearance in less time? I'm really hoping to make my landing before next may, so I don't have to serve my reservist next year!:) Cheers..

Silly
My husband sent in his fingerprints on June 5. We also sent an express post envelope for the results to be sent directly to Buffalo. The tracking information on the envelope said that the prints arrived at Buffalo RPC on August 13. So, in total, it took about 2 months. Hope this helps. :)
Thanks for the reply, anitsirK. I sure hope your case is the norm rather than the exception! After waiting nearly 4 yrs for my IA, my patience is really running thin.
