Cord (husband) is Canadian, Linda is from Florida.
We met online in July 2006 and spent hours together daily with our webcams and mics thereafter. I came to Canada for a visit on October 4, 2006 and we ended up marrying on October 6, 2006.
I've been here on a visitor permit since. It was extended once for six months, and then a second time for a year (expiring October 2008).
Completed the in-country spousal sponsorship and permanent residency application, including fingerprints/criminal check, medical exam, etc., and submitted it to Vegreville in August.
Status of the app per Immigration site as of today:
We received your application for permanent residence on August 13, 2007.
We started processing your application on August 24, 2007.
