No - State & FBI reports are "typically" good for 6 months and "should" be submitted before they are 3 months old - mine were received on the day they turned 6 months old & I've not been asked for updated ones
Medicals expire a year to the day they were performed, in certain cases with inland applicants they will sometimes extend them a little to make it to landing

HI
No, if you read the instructions the police certificates can be no older than 3 months when you submit the application.

I did read the instructions & still submitted my reports that arrived at CIC-M on the day they turned 6 months old. I've not been asked for updated ones.
Then again, I've not been outside Canada since they were issued - might have had something to do with it - don't know
Nothing in my CAIPS notes about police certificates being expired or having an expiry
That's only my experience with them

Hi
From the Application Guide
"You may begin to gather your police certificates before submitting your application to the CIO. Although you will not submit the police certificate to the CIO, you must be ready to submit them to a visa office if your application is recommended for further assessment at a Canadian visa office. When you submit the application to the visa office please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months before you submitted your application to the CIO."

I think for outland application CheckList is required to include Police Clearance that accompany application. Isn't that true? ( I don't have the package handle with me to look right now). Otherwise it wouldn't be that important to have Police Rpt right from the submitting time, is it?

Hi
I just read to guide and yes in CheckList it has Police Clearance required.
