Ok, so I'm confused. I got a letter last week from Buffalo requesting my FBI record, even though I included the original with my application (I am 100% certain of this). So it seems like they lost it. Then TODAY I got a letter request for Right of Permanent Residence Fee (yay!), my e-CAS still says "in process".
I emailed CIC Buffalo to ask about the FBI record, but I haven't had a response so far. I also sent off for my CAIPS right after I received the FBI record request, just in case. Has anyone had any experience with this kind of thing? Does the RPRF request mean they in fact have all my paperwork or is it possible for them to request RPRF without all the documents?

UPDATE: Of course the day after I post this I get an answer. Fortunately Buffalo was able to locate my FBI report, after some poking and prodding from me. Everything should be in order.
