Full Version: FBI fingerprint card?

My husband got his fingerprints done on an FBI card yesterday. The officer that did it signed his own name where he was supposed and copied onto the card some details about my husband (sex, race, height, weight, etc.) from his driver's license. The officer also filled in my hubby's social security number.

My question is, what else needs to be filled in on the FBI card? There are lots of blank spaces on here. Reason fingerprinted? Signature? Place of residence? Employer address? Date of birth? There are even blank spaces where the applicant can indicate his citizenship (American), and also his FBI number, armed forces number, and there's even a blank space to put misc. number such as a passport number.

What is necessary info to put on this fingerprint card?
I filled in everything that I could. I put Canadian Immigration in the reason line. I don't work, so I couldn't put any employer stuff down. Better to be safe than sorry.
I did what Catherine did - nobody said I had to, but it didn't seem to hurt that I did.
