Hi everybody, My name is Tamara I am from Iraq . I applied my skilled worker app. on aug 2004. I did the medical test and police certificate and IELTS exam, Everything is okey.

Last month i did my interview, But they request for another interview. They send a letter for the 2nd interview after 15 days from the 1st one.

By the way, The CIC officer told me he is optimistic to my case. And the GIC (Governor-in-Council) officer is very nice with me ,he asked me that where i will stay in canada and he gave my some suggestions about living and working in canada. Is that mean anything?

and why the GIC involve on this? Isn`t the CIC enogh?

Can anyone tell me what is the main reasons for the 2nd interview???

Hi Taraa, I think no one replied because its not commonly heard of to have 2nd interview. It might be that they want to clarify certain things. As long as your documentation was properly done, and nothing dodgy in the application, nothing bad should happen (This is just my sentiment).

Thou I have heard abt ppl attending 2 interviews, the time span of just 15 days bwn the two interview dates is really weird...
What they need to clarify in the second interview might/could have been done in the 1st one itself.. Imagine if u r somewhere else & cant fly that many times within short spans..OOPS!
Anyways, interviews r interviews & deserve fullest preparation.. Go with ALL ur documents that would prove ur claims..
