hola amigos.
i'm in the process now of filing outland for my PR (I'm US, my wife is the sponsor), and am finding myself stumped about how to approach an issue.
My wife has PR here in the States, where we have lived together 5 years ( we decided 1 immigration process was so much fun, we want to do it again). Meanwhile, 2 years ago, I started back up at school in Vancouver, got a study permit, etc. I usually go up there for 4 months at a time, and spend my summers here in the States where she has maintained our permanent address.
So , I am now wondering if this time apart, which now does equal a considerable amount of time, might be taken as us NOT living together for the successive past 2 years. we maintain joint banking accounts, bills, etc, and i keep this address as my permanent address.
curious as to anyone's opinion. i feel i have honesty on my side, and so never thought until recently that maybe it actually might be an issue.
