We have recently sent you correspondence by regular mail to the address on your application form. We ask that you wait for the mail to arrive before requesting any further information.

Well our application was in Buffalo last Nov 2007 for PR for my American common-law partner. We have fullfilled all of immigrations requests. last 3 months have not heard a thing....then today after inquiry to Buffalo by email the above response.

WHAT COULD IT BE???? We are thinking the worst...DENIED. They say it was sent regular mail, please allow 2-4 weeks.

What could it be? Confused
It could also be your PPR request..........think POSITIVE thoughts!!!
Does it say decision made or just that they sent your correspondence?

I think unless it says decision made then it's just that - correspondence - maybe a request for info, etc
It has said decision made for over six or seven months now.
It has said decision made for over 6 months?? Did you call and try and find out the decision - strange that it has been that long and no letter has come until now? Why would they need addiditional documents if it say's decision made...i dont understand Confused I think that (I) would have asked about the decision after a few weeks had passed and i hadnt recieved any correspondence - did you try and do that.... have you checked your address to make sure they have the correct one...maybe they are wondering why you havent responded to the decision or something...its a mystery....
yeh, it seemd strange to me as well, even the bottom section on ECAS says COMPLETE .

So the top part says "IN PROCESS" the middle Says "DECISION MADE" and the bottom says "COMPLETE"

the decision made, and complete, has been like that for months....even after asking for explanation for some charge she had on FBI report from 1977 and also requested FBI report, and medicals for her unaccompanying 18yr old son.

So here has been the requests from them to date

Requested more proof of common-law relationship ----did that
Requested explanation of charges of 1977----did that, was a teenage marijuana charge with 6 month probation
Requested medical and FBI clearance for her 18yr old son---gave that

then not heard a thing for 3-4 months
Sorry can't remember - are you inland or outland?
I'm thinking that DECISION MADE is for AIP if inland

I think COMPLETE is...well, complete - sounds it
Hopefully you'll find out soon

Good luck

AIP and Decision made for inland are separate in e-cas. Mine was anyhow.

When I got AIP it said something similar to this, A letter has been sent to, regarding Approval in Principal to become a PR of Canada.

When I got decision made, it said something like a Decision has been made on your application to become a PR of Canada.

Mine said complete the day after I landed.
CUT PASTE of what it says
and been like this for a while

Yes, you're clicking under the "Logout" button where it says
The following tables will help you understand the status of your application.

If it doesn't say Decision Made, I'd have to say it's just correspondence
