I just had my baby in mid-Dec in Canada while visiting my husband (who is my sponsor and a Canadian citizen), sent an email to Buffalo Dec 17 to inform them of the birth, haven't received a reply back yet, but received PPR today dated Dec 23!
I'm excited about the PPR, but also worried because at the end of the letter it says that a birth can change the process. But since my child is a Canadian citizen, will it impact the sending in the passport & landing process? Can we drive to Buffalo to do the PPR & landing as usual? Or are there extra steps to take?
Also, my meds expired Nov 6, but the letter I received today stated "We require your passport in order to attach the visa BEFORE Feb 10, 2009". It seemed as if there was another date underneath it, because it was whited out and Feb 10, 2009 was stamped on top of it. Back in Oct, my MPs office said Buffalo would consider renewing my meds, do I assume this is it?
Thanks! After waiting so long, this just seems too good to be true.
